In World War 1 weapons that could level cities were created and used on military bases and civilian cities alike. This war was so destructive and brutal on every country involved that it kicked future generations into modern warfare. One of these artifacts that was the British Mark V Tank. This tank could have a crew of 8 men but only needed 1 man to operate it. Production of them began in 1917 and the first batch of them were finished in 1918 and the last batch was finished in mid-1919. One of the battles that these tanks served is The Battle of Hamel that aided the Australian Forces. One of the biggest features added to this tank was it's epicylcic steering system which was what made it possible for one person to operate it. https://tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww1/gb/tank_MkV.php https://www.tankmuseum.org/museum-online/vehicles/object-e1949-327
The Lee-Einfield rifle company made and used well Lee-Einfield rifles. The Lee-Einfield rifle that was used in World War 1 was the SMLE MK 3 this rifle was so superior in it's ability to fire out rounds that during the Battle of Mons that German officers thought they were using machine guns. The most interesting part of this gun is that even though it fired 25 rounds out a minute it was a bolt action gun. Something that the SMLE MK 3 is that it has a 10 magizine clip instead of most other bolt action rifles that only come to a 5-6 magizine. One flaw to this powerful design is that rimlock is more possible when you have more rounds in the magizine. The ammo that the SMLE MK 3 used was .303 and the range of the gun was about 300 yards.
The MK1917 Trench Knife became a standard weapon when it was noted to be designed specifically for well trench warfare. The knife was double edged making it possible for both thrusting and slashing. It was notably unique for its brass knuckles theme also making it useful for hand to hand combat. Something that was notable about this weapon was that it was made by the U.S. meaning that this weapon was made within a year or so. This knife would then later on inspire someone to make the MK1 trench knife which was superior in almost every way to the M1917 and M1918 trench knives.

The Austria-Hungary Empire was a constitutional monarchy that was founded in 1867 and ended in 1918 after the events of World War 1. The Austrian-Hungary Empire believed that the reason for Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand assassination was for military invasion. The Austria-Hungary Empire wasn't sure of this but still wanted to do a formal investigation into it with the Serbian government and they agreed. However they had to be careful of what they did due to the powerful ally of Serbia that being Russia. Still seeing Russia as Serbia's ally they still declared war and pressured Germany for help. In September of 1918 the Austrian government decided that the war effort was not worth the lives anymore and sent out a possible peace conference to the allies. Finally on November 12, 1918 it was official that the Austrian-Hungarian Empire was dissolved.
